This is because we wish to become an asset to the law companies for whom we work and to remain so. The working partnerships between Medical Reports  and our solicitor clients are based upon a unique combination of trust, knowledge and experience. Our director has enjoyed direct and extensive experience in fee-earning businesses so we deeply understand the key issues and are able to provide the relevant bespoke solutions.

We also regularly invest in the most relevant technological advancements within the industry such as case management systems Proclaim and Nephex, bi-directional data transfer, online reporting software and medical expert diaries so we are always placed to provide more than is expected, in a manner that’s fast and extremely effective.

We typically handle the medical reports needs of hundreds of fee earners at any given time. It’s all in the details.

We have recently started using Medical reports Ltd having chosen them on Medco on a random basis. To be frank we were not expecting anything out of the ordinary. Most agencies we have worked with in the past have been slow and reactive as opposed to fast and proactive. This has led to us having to chase the agency for updates to appease a client annoyed at delays in obtaining the medical evidence.
We are really pleased that we selected Medical Reports some months ago. It has been a pleasure to deal with them. Instructions are emailed over and acknowledged the same day. Appointments are set up and take place within a matter of a few weeks if not days. Should the medical report not be produced within a short timescale the agency actively follows this up with the expert and lets us know what is happening. The upshot of this is that the client is at all times kept up to date with what is happening and can see that the claim is moving forwards. This medical agency makes you feel like you are their only client. We now send all our medical instructions to them where at all possible (Medco precludes us sending them all) and could not be more satisfied. Thank you.

What type of claims typically pass through the company?

We process various types of claims ranging from Employers’ Liability, Personal Liability, Road Traffic Accident, Industrial Disease and Clinical Negligence. Our database of medical experts offers national coverage, in all specialist fields.

How diligent are you in turning reports around?

MRL understand that sometimes solicitors have short deadlines and therefore are always willing to pull out the stops. All Medco reports are returned back to the instructing solicitors within 7 days of appointment but more complex report types will obviously vary. We will always do our best to get reports back when needed.

How do we work together?

Your case handler can receive communications by e-mail, fax, DX or post. Two current solicitors employ direct bi-lateral data transfer systems with MRL. All new instructions will be acknowledged within 24 hours.

Do I need to sign terms and conditions?

We are happy to receive instructions without signed terms however we feel it is the best interest of the solicitor to have terms in place, Please download our standard terms and conditions above and if you require any further information or would like to discuss further please contact us.

How are MRL changing to meet future needs?

Following the introduction of Medco RTA cases are now GP report-based with no review of medical records. Speed of turnaround is now even more essential. With this in mind our case management software is constantly evolving to ensure that the best service is provided.

Our expanding team always receive the most up to date information from the sector and are made aware of all aspects of the business and whatever industry changes may occur.
